Call for Group 1 & Group 2 content developers and online facilitators – IB online professional development

The IB’s professional development department is seeking potential content developers and/or online facilitators for a series of online professional development workshops for teachers, planned for 2010/2011. Subject experts are required to author the online workshops related to the new Group 1 and Group 2 courses that will go into effect from September 2011. Online facilitators will also be needed to mentor participants as they take part in the online workshops.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of subject expertise and have extensive experience teaching IB Group 1 or Group 2 languages at both the standard and higher levels. Experience as a face-to-face or online workshop leader and/or experience as an Examiner is a plus, as is proficiency in two or more languages. 

If interested, please send an email letter of application with CV outlining your curriculum area(s), IB experience and any online experience you may have. If selected you will be trained in online facilitation thus prior online experience is not a prerequisite.
